These azuki beans are grown in the rich natural environment of Kunohe-gun, Iwate Prefecture, and are left to the workings of nature. You can taste the beans' natural sweetness, astringency, and depth of flavor with all five senses. They are grown in fields where no chemically synthesized pesticides or fertilizers are used, and where efforts are made to cultivate the soil, receiving the blessings of nature's power to nurture all living things.

Since 2019, we have been experiencing poor growth and reduced sales of azuki beans, regardless of cultivation method.
With a decrease in the number of growers due to the labor-intensive nature of the crop, we are offering a limited quantity of azuki beans that have been entrusted to us by those who have been fortunate enough to have a relationship with us.
